The economics of 'new blood'

Previously he has held tenure track appointments at the Louisiana State University (as Assistant, Associate and Mack H. Hornbeak Business Partnership Professor from 1992 to 2003), Tilburg University (as Assistant Professor from 1995 to 1997), University of Ioannina (as Professor from 2001 to 2003) and University of Macedonia (as Professor from 2003 to 2012). He has also been a Visiting Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the University of Cyprus and the Bank of Greece. He has given numerous seminars at universities and organizations in Asia, Europe and North America. He has served as a reviewer for all the major journals in economics as well as various research funding organizations and publishers and as an external reviewer for tenure and promotion for several universities. He regularly serves as an M.Phil. and Ph.D. external examiner at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a co-editor of the Journal of Macroeconomics.
